Riding The Storm Out -- COMPLETED Empty
PostSubject: Riding The Storm Out -- COMPLETED   Riding The Storm Out -- COMPLETED Icon_minitimeMon Nov 12, 2012 12:32 pm

It was a typically loud and hectic filled evening in Koopa Kastle, Bowser thought to himself as he stood over his bed. There was a giant suitcase on top of it, opened. "A vacation from those pesky plumbers, at last.", he said aloud as he walked over to the standing dresser across from the bed in his master chambers. Opening the dresser, he pulled out a bunch of hawaiian shirts and threw them over by the bed. Seeing his spare shell hanging up against the far side of the cabinet, he took it down and closed the dresser shut with a swift kick with the back of his foot. Moving back to the bed, he picked the shirts off of the ground and messily packed them inside the suitcase. Putting the spare shell on top of the crumpled clothing, he closed the suitcase and struggled to latch the bulging bag. Finally getting it to seal with a few good punches with his left hand, he picked up the suitcase and made his way out to the door that revealed the throne room. The room was lined with pictures of the Koopa Klan and there was a red carpet that lined the middle of the room. Leading up to it was the throne where he often sat, in thought of how to kidnap that lovely princess the plumbers had with them.

Taking a deep breath, he walked past the throne and began to make his way down to the knight's quarters.

Roy was walking down from the koopa quarters upstairs when he bumped into Bowser exiting the throne room. "King Dad!", he shouted with frustration in his voice. "Wendy is hogging up the bathroom and I need to use the toilet sometime this decade!" Pulling a jar of earthworms out of his shell, he showed them to King Dad.

"If she doesn't come out, these will be in her shell when I break that door down!", he said with an evil, twisted smile upon his face. Tugging on Bowser's arm, he pointed towards the stairway that led to the quarters. "Come on dad, help me get her good!"

Bowser looked at Roy and shook his head as he let out a sarcastic sigh. "Speaking of hogging, get your bumbling koopa butts in gear!", he yelled at him. "The Koopa Copter is waiting on the roof and we've only got so much time to catch our plane at the Cookie Mountain hangar." Placing a hand on Roy's shell, he flashed him an evil smile. "And the idea of the worms, is a truly awful, sick and rotten one.. but she is the angel of my eye and she's also a teenager." His expression turning back to serious, he smacked Roy in the back with the packed suitcase. "NOW GET UP THERE AND HURRY YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTER UP!!", he roared at him.

He began to make his way down to the knight's quarters as he began to talk to himself again. "Dreaded kids, why did I even have them.", he muttered to himself as he approached the doorway that led into the quarters of his lead knight. Stepping inside the room, he looked around and saw it was cluttered with armor pieces, lances and other various junk. "Fire!", he shouted aloud. "Where the heck are you?"

Buried under clutter, he heard the voice of King Bowser echo throughout his chambers. Standing up and saluting the king from behind the table, he looked around the room. "Sir, I know it is a mess but I'll get it cleaned up", he said with a nervous twitch in his voice as he moved around through the clutter and coming to a rest, standing at Bowser's feet. "What can I help you with, my evil koopa majesty?"

Bowser saluted the knight in return. "The koopalings and I are going on vacation to the Koopa Virgin Islands for four days", he stated in a firm voice. "The plumbers shouldn't come looking for us here." With a disgusted look on his face, he shook his head. "They haven't heard from us in a while, because we've been keeping quiet.. which as you very well know, is something a Koopa does not enjoy doing. Next worst thing to being 'nice' and 'respectful'."

Coughing, he turned his expression back to a stern one. "I'm leaving you in charge with 20 koopa troopas under your wing just in case there is any sort of problem while I'm away." Saluting the koopa troopa once more, he walked out of the quarters and made his way back up towards the koopa quarters. He had a feeling those koopa kids weren't getting ready, it was time to get their shells in line and ready to board the Copter.

Kamek was sitting on the bed in the koopa chambers where all the koopalings were gathered as they prepared for the trip to the Koopa Virgin Islands, with a book laid open in front of him. Adjusting his thick glasses, he looked to the koopa kids and waved to get their attention. "Okay, you brats", he said in a raspy, irritated voice. "Hurry up and pack and good ole Kamek will tell you a story about his adventures from long ago!"

Noticing Wendy was STILL in the bathroom, he shook his head and wondered why females were like that. Why Bowser adored her so much, he had no idea.

Leaning against the left side outside of the bathroom doorway, Larry tied a fishing line in front of the doorway leaving just a few inches above the ground. The line then directed up along the left side of the doorway and led to a bucket above the doorway, to which the line was attached to by its handle. Covering his mouth and letting off an evil snicker, he ran over to the bed and jumped on it, sitting next to Kamek. "YEAH!", he shouted in excitement as he clung to Kamek's left arm. "Tell us the story about that Yoshi you ate from the inside out! That one is AWESOME!"

Standing there as she looked at herself in the bathroom mirror, Wendy kept fidgeting with her pink hair bow. She couldn't get it just right and it was annoying the hell out of her. There was no way she was going to get on the plane looking like a mess, nonetheless leaving the castle. Growling as the bow kept drooping, she licked the tip of her fingers and pulled at the bow stretching it out with them. Seeing the bow was finally set and perfect, she pumped a fist in victory over her battle with the accessory. Walking out of the bathroom, she tripped the line as the bucket came down from the top of the doorway, dumping green slime on top of her. "LARRY!!", she screamed in anger. "You are so going to get it for this!" Taking our her wand from her shell, she charged towards the bed at him. Jumping onto the bed, she tackled Larry and stuck a finger in her mouth. With an evil grin, she crammed a wet finger right into his ear.

Roy ran into the chambers, clearly out of breath. Looking around and seeing that everyone had still left their things unpacked, he growled loudly. "Hurry up you dorks, King Dad is coming up here!", he said as he walked over to the bed where everyone was sitting on. Smacking Larry in the back of the head and sending him flying off the bed, he hurried over to the closet and began to pack his own things in his shell. "He sees this going on up here, he's going to jump through the ceiling!"

Standing in the doorway of the koopa chambers, Bowser looked around in anger at the koopalings as they were still fooling around and unpacked for the trip. Looking to Kamek sitting on the bed, he growled and stormed into the room. "KAMEK!!", he shouted in anger, his voice booming throughout the room and down the hallway. "Stop reading your damn romance novels, I told you to get the koopalings ready to go!"

Stepping over to the closet, he began throwing various belongings at the koopalings in the room. "Hurry up, put these things in your shells and let's GO!", he shouted as he continued to fling stuff at the koopalings behind him. Slamming the closet door shut, he walked over to the bed then grabbed Kamek's hat and pulled it down over his face hard. "We'll be late because of you", he said as he grabbed Kamek by the arm, "thanks a lot!".

Dragging him off the bed, he walked over to the doorway and waited by it impatiently.

Larry rubbed his head as he sat there on the ground. Packing up a few things and stuffing them in his shell, he walked over to Roy and punched him in the back of the head. "Don't be such a butthead!", he whined at him as he walked over to the doorway and waited behind King Dad.

Morton picked a few items off of the ground that King Dad had thrown from the closet and put them in his shell carefully. Climbing onto the bed, he cleared his throat loudly.

"Everybody, I have a few words", he said in a booming voice. "It makes no sense to me on why we're leaving the castle for a few days while Mario could plan an attack at any point or time. We're leaving our guard down and that is just what any attacker would want. As Koopas, I believe we should stand our ground here, have no fun at all instead of embarking on a pointless and may I say boring trip to some Islands out in the middle of nowhere." Beginning to trail off, he muttered, "In the words of a koopa troopa I once knew.."

Packing the last of his things into his shell, Roy turned around after Larry smacked him in the head. Chasing after Larry, he shook an angry fist at him. "I'm the bully here, you dingus!", he shouted at him as he moved in line behind King Dad.

Wendy picked up her hair dryer and magazines off of the ground and neatly put them in her shell. Walking over to the bed, she climbed up onto it and grabbed Morton by the arm. "Those words were 'Hey Loudspeaker, pipe it and let's go'!", she said with a hint of sarcasm as she pulled him off the bed and tugged him along with her to the doorway where the others were waiting. Ludwig, Lemmy and Iggy followed behind them and exited the chambers, walking ahead towards the staircase that led to the roof of the castle.

Dragging Kamek along by the back of his blue velvet gown, Bowser made his way up the stairway and to the roof of the castle. There it was, the big green and white Koopa Copter, resting on top of the roof and ready to go. Chucking Kamek over the lip of the Copter, he turned to the other three koopalings who had came up here with him. Picking up each one, he threw them recklessly into the Copter.

Walking back to the doorway that led to the roof, he yelled "Don't make me turn around and come down there!", his voice echoing throughout the hallway. Standing next to the entrance-way, he tapped his foot and waited impatiently.

Breaking free of his sister's grasp, Morton ran after King Dad still yapping incoherently like usual. Arriving onto the roof, he turned to Bowser and looked at him with a concerned look. "Blasphemy, that's all there is to it. Blasphemy!", he said with a scowl. He then ran to the Koopa Copter and climbed inside of it.

Roy turned to Wendy and pointed towards the stairs that led to the roof. "I may think you're a spoiled turd", he said with a mean smile, "but we do got one thing in common."

Wendy looked at him and shrugged. "What's that?"

"Payback for Larry.", he said with a snicker. He then turned and ran for the stairs, making it to the roof and into the Koopa Copter. Wendy followed him in pursuit and climbed into the Copter as well.

Pushing and shoving through the koopa kids who landed on him in the crowded Copter, Kamek figured he would have the ever fun job of keeping the pesky mini-me's occupied while Bowser drove. Adjusting his thick glasses once more and straightening out his wizard hat, he pulled out his book and motioned the kids to gather around him.

"Have you ever heard of the tale of the Disemboweled Yoshi?", he said with an evil smile on his face and a quick giggle in his voice. Placing a hand over Larry's mouth, he looked at each of the koopalings.

Stretching out properly, Bowser got a running start from his spot on the roof and catapulted himself inside the Koopa Copter, crashing down on top of Kamek and a couple of koopa kids.

Looking down, he noticed he was sitting on Kamek's head, which was clearly defined by a crumpled blue hat and a pair of loose glasses. "I got excited", he said in a cheery voice, which was unusual for him. "You really ought to find a better place to sit, you crazy old koopa wizard!"

Turning the key in the ignition, he put his foot down on the peddle as he grabbed the steering wheel. The Copter began to take off into the air, lifting well above the castle. "Here we go!", he shouted as he gave the steering wheel a quick punch. The Copter exited the Valley of Bowser and out above Soda Lake, heading for Cookie Mountain.

PostSubject: Re: Riding The Storm Out -- COMPLETED   Riding The Storm Out -- COMPLETED Icon_minitimeWed Nov 14, 2012 1:06 am

Looking out the castle window, Fire watched the Koopa Copter take flight and exit the Valley. Beginning to clean up the clutter in his chambers, he placed the armor pieces on the table and admired them as they shone. He'd had this armor since the day he was knighted by Bowser himself, the fire red glowed as much as his heart yearned for the Koopa race and to serve under the greatest empire throughout the land. Sitting down in the chair behind the table, he kicked his feet back and trailed his fingers along the visor of his armored helmet. No yelling in the castle, the sound of marching troopas echoing through the castle was non-existent.. this was a perfect day, almost too perfect. Hearing a loud buzzing sound coming from behind him, he reached into his shell and pulled out a walkie talkie. Someone was contacting him, it most likely was a koopa patrolman. Holding the red button down on top, he got the distress signal from the device:

Lead Knight Fire, this is Koopa Patrolman 2W2, do you copy?
Quickly, do you copy?

Putting the walkie talkie close to his mouth, he returned a message. "Yes, 2W2", he said as he slowly closed his eyes. "What's your status?"

Reporting two plumbers and a pack of yoshi coming in behind them, coming up on the Donut Plains Ghost House.

Leaning back upright in his chair, he thought to himself for a brief moment. It was a pack of Yoshi, they had koopa troopas out there in Donut Plains to take care of such a small task. Watching his armor intently, he replied to the patrolman. "How large is this 'pack'? You all should of taken care of this by now!"

Dozens! If not hundreds of Yoshi, Sir! You better warn the King, this may be a major onslaught that they're trying to lead to the castle!

Quickly getting up from his chair, he nearly dropped the talking device. Recovering it after a few wild slips from his hand, he spoke into it again. "Attempt to hold them, I'll trek out and warn the King. He just left for the Cookie Mountain Hangar by Copter. 10-4, out." Releasing the red button, he set the talkie on the table and began to suit up. He put on his armored suit which slipped around his shell, which showed multiple dents and scratches from the years of abuse it had taken from enemies. Slipping on his boots and then his armored gloves, he took the helmet from off the table and slipped it onto his head. He hoped to himself that he could catch up with the King before he took off for the Islands, because 20 troopas were no match for the number of Yoshi that had been spotted with the plumbers.

Walking down to the stalls, he hummed the Koopa Oath to himself. This was the test of a true koopa troopa, the heat of battle is what they lived for.

Down in the stalls of the Castle, Heaven was maintaining and checking on each of the Reznors when she heard the sound of footsteps clanging against the rock floor from the hallway leading into the area. She adjusted the crown on top of her beautiful mass of white, flowing hair as she patted one of the Reznors on the back. Moving to the entrance way, she waved down the knight who was coming down.

Quickening his pace down the hallway, he noticed Queen Heaven standing in the entrance way of the stalls where all the steed were kept. Approaching her, he saluted her and stepped into the room with her. "Your Lady Koopaness, we have an issue", he said to her in a firm tone of voice, his blue eyes staring directly into her sterling silver eyes. "The plumbers are leading an army of Yoshi past the Ghost House in the Plains." Walking over to the pens, he looked over the Reznors in each one until he found one at the end of the room that seemed fit. It wasn't a fat one by no stretch of the imagination, but it had good strength in its legs and the horn on its nose was very long and extremely sharp. Opening the door to the stall, he pat it on the stomach and then looked to Heaven again from over the stalls barrier wall. "I must take one of the Reznors and hope I can meet King Bowser at the hangar before he leaves, we don't have enough troops to stand against the plumbers.", he said to her in a quiet voice, uncertain of the situation's outcome. Saddling up the Reznor, he grabbed the reins and sighed.

"I'll page for extra goombas and 15 of my koopa troopas to cut those plumbers off at Vanilla Dome.", he stated as he looked to the Queen with a sense of honor in his eyes. "I just hope they can hold them off long enough, I suggest that you stay here while I go."

The Reznor looked up at the koopa knight with charcoal colored eyes and yawned. It was time to astonish the masses, he thought to himself. Clearing his throat, he began to speak.

"Hey, don't do that kick to the ribs other riders do", he said in a gravely voice. "And Frank over in the next stall keeps farting, whoever feeds us down here needs to hold back on those leftover poison mushrooms. Those fireballs don't come up for a reason, pal."

~~~
Wiggling himself out from underneath the enormous girth of King Bowser, Kamek straightened his hat and adjusted the glasses back on his nose. "Old crazy koopa wizard?!", he asked in frustration. "Hmph, you say that again and I'm turning this Copter into a question block."
Looking to the Koopa kids again, he grinned an evil smile to them. "Now back to that story, who wants to hear it?"
Walking over to the stall where Fire was, Heaven placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'm going with you", she said with a firm look in her eyes. "Just for the safety factor."
Looking down at the Reznor in the stall, she about leaped out of her shell at the sound of the voice. "You can talk?", she asked, sounding quite shocked. "That's amazing, can the others as well?" Opening the stall next to the one Fire was in, she stared at the one he had called "Frank". He was a pudgy, old Reznor by the looks of it but if things came down to the worst, she could fight enemies off on her own power. Mounting the saddle upon the back of the Reznor, she leaned down and looked into its eyes. They were full of life and wonder, she wondered how good of a life they truly lived. "Don't argue with me, Sir Fire. This is a direct order from your queen.", she said as she gently fondled the tip of the horn of the Reznor between her fingers.
"We ain't mimes", the Reznor said as he stretched out his hind calves with a bit of a grunt. "Of course we can talk, well some more than others."
Frank blankly looked into the eyes of the Queen and tilted his head at her words. Opening his mouth wide, he let off an enormous belch as she began to play with his horn.
