Role Play Pool Party!

With the three of them digging their feet in to stop the vehicle, it finally slowed down enough to where Skittles could get control of the key and jammed the ignition shut, causing the vehicle to come to a rest right in front of the group of wild yoshi that had blocked the path off. The shack was just a few feet away on the left of the trio. Skittles grabbed his magic wand from inside his shell and stepped off of the back of the vehicle. Looking to Xiuhcoatl and Clive, he wondered what they carried.

It was a group of at least 30 wild yoshi of various colors but one in the center of the group really stood out from the rest. It was a black colored yoshi that had long silver hair covering his head and carried a sword that had a skull on the hilt of it. It appeared the blade was made out of some kind of clear crystal stone. He had wings on his back that were tied together in the middle with a tattered purple ribbon. He snickered at the trio by the vehicle and waved the sword in the air, glancing to the pack of yoshi behind him with an evil smile.

Skittles, Xiuhcoatl and Clive had a miracle to pull off if they wanted to win this fight.

Orinda looked to Elaine in a bit of shock at what she said. "Really?", he asked curiously. "That's really cool", he said with a smile as he walked up the hallway. "But now, how do we wax the floors with these lemon peels?". He picked up the metal bucket and walked back down to the lobby to where Crystal and Elaine were standing and set it down on the ground thinking to himself.

"Suggestions from either of you? I've got no idea myself."

Xiuhcoatl uncoiled his tail from around the back axle as he climbed off the side of the vehicle. His tail was bleeding in a few areas but this didn't bother him at the moment, he could see that there were much bigger problems ahead of them.

Taking out the magic wand from his shell, he leaned over to Skittles and whispered "The one with the hair must be the ringleader."

Crystal looked at the bucket of lemon peels after Orinda brought it into the lobby. Studying it carefully, she had a strange idea but it she figured they had nothing to lose. "If we can squeeze any lemon juice from the peels and if there was a rag available, we could drop the lemon juice on the floor and use the rag to polish it."

Looking around the room for a rag that was visable, she remembered that Orinda had just been using a rag to polish the staircase. "Orinda, do you still have that rag packed in your shell and do you have more than one?", she asked him thoughtfully. "It's a lot of ground to cover, but I think the three of us could get this floor done if we all work together."

But then she looked to the ceiling of the lobby and saw that all the cobwebs were still up there. Looking to Elaine, she smiled and pointed up towards them. "But first, if I fly up there and knock the cobwebs out, can you catch me if I fall? These little wings can only go so far without fatiguing."

Seeing Xiuchoatl's wand and Skittle's whip, Clive said,

"Hey what about me? I don't even have a weapon. How do you expect me fight all these yoshi unarmed? Fighting toads is one thing but these are vicious."

Clive put up a fighting stance unsure of what to do.

Elaine nodded at Crystal,

"Sure I'll catch you. Just be careful, okay.."

Looking up at the ceiling nervously for a moment, she took a deep breath and flapped the silver wings on her back, propelling into the air. She raised herself slowly up to the ceiling and looked around her. There were cobwebs in all four corners and a decent amount on the chandelier. Zooming over to the front left corner, she stuck a hand out to her side as she rounded the corner, knocking the cobwebs away. Using the same technique, she got the three other corners without much difficulty. As she made her way to the chandelier, she began to feel a bit tired as her wings also slowed down quite a bit. She floated around the chandelier, batting away the cobwebs. Feeling herself run out of steam, she reached out for a grip on the light but was just short.

She looked down as her wings sputtered themselves out. Crystal began to fall from the ceiling. Fluttering her wings in desperation, she began to scream.

Seeing Clive was unarmed, he took the leather whip from inside his shell and threw it to him. "Hope you know how to use it, don't exactly have time to teach you now.", he said as he looked to Xiuhcoatl and then back to the group of wild Yoshi.

The black Yoshi turned towards the pack of wild ones behind him and shouted something in Yoshi language. Raising his sword in the air, the Yoshi pack began to run at the trio.

Orinda watched in wonder as Crystal flew about the room, like a pink light zooming across the sky. Digging through his shell, he found four more rags.. they may get this floor clean after all, he thought. As he set the rags by the bucket, he saw Crystal begin to fall. Wishing his wings hadn't been broken in the crash back at the forest, he looked at Elaine with hope that she would catch her.

Pointing his magic wand at the middle of the pack with both hands, he looked to Clive and Skittles with his eyes wide. "Stand your ground, guys!", he shouted as he turned back to the pack of Yoshi.

As he shouted the phrase, "Windsy, Blowsy, knock out that Yoshi!", the end of the wand began to glow a light green as the wind began to pick up.

Clive took the whip of Skittles and prepared for battle against the yoshi.

Elaine, seeing Cystal fall extended her arms in an attemp to try and catch her.

"I'll catch you, don't worry," she said.

The winds grew into a hurricane force, knocking seven or eight of the Yoshi off their feet and flying off of the island. Xiuhcoatl used his tail to lean against so he didn't get blown away with them, cringing in pain as he felt the skin on his tail tear more.

The bleeding from his tail worsened as the wind died down. He thought of what to do next.

She came down and crashed down into Elaine's arms. Crystal sighed in relief and looked at Elaine. "Why did they give me small wings like that!", she said with a nervous laugh.

"Thank you, I appreciate it.", she said with a smile.

Skittles was pushed back by the winds and flew into the vehicle behind him with a hard crash. Watching the Yoshi get blown away and off the island, he shook his head and attempted to get the cobwebs out. The winds finally dying, he got to his feet and looked at the remaining Yoshi.

The black Yoshi gave Skittles an evil look and retreated into the jungle. He had plans for this trio, no doubt. The other 20 Yoshi recovered and began to charge them again.

Firmly keeping his wand in hand and saw Xiuhcoatl was wounded, quite badly for that matter.

"Hey, you alright man?", he asked with concern.

Orinda sighed in relief as Crystal was caught. "Those wings seem to be as effective as mine", he said in a low voice as he looked at his own wings. Shrugging, he walked back to the bucket and offered each of them a rag.

"If each of us start from a corner, we should be able to get it done in time", he said with a smile. "We'll have to get on all fours though."

Getting on his hands and knees, he squeezed juice from one of the lemon skins from the bucket and began to scrub the floor. He started by the end of the stairs.

Clive continued to stand his ground as a group of yoshi closed round him. There was no escape now.

"Hey guys, I could use a little help here. The yoshi have me surrounded and I can't get out," he said.

Elaine took one of the lemon skins and squeezed the juice out. She walked over to a corner and started to scrub.

"Steady... oof, steady... There!" With a heave, Chugami landed the still-lit fire pit on the framework of the rolling searchlight, which now had its searchlight removed and laying to the side of the throne room. He wiped his brow. "That should be able to provide enough light for a safe journey. Hm... better make sure to get some more firewood first, though, just to be sure. Orinda's been the castle awhile; perhaps he knows where some is kept."

He left the throne room, pushing the fire pit-loaded trolley in front of him, and reentered the lobby where he saw the other three scrubbing the floor. Figuring they looked busy, he waited by the door he came in by.

Shrugging to Skittles, he took his magic wand and pointed it at the group of Yoshi that began to surround Clive. The wand glowed a fire red as it shot out a large ball of fire, connecting with three of the Yoshi ganging up on Clive. The three Yoshi burst into flame and fled Fromm the area.

Clearly in pain, he turned his attention to another group of Yoshi.

Seeing four Yoshi coming to gang tackle him, Skittles quickly ducked inside his shell. The four Yoshi impaled themselves on the white, sharp spikes on his shell and staggered away, mortally wounded.

The black Yoshi snuck out from behind the shack and arrived behind the occupied Xiuhcoatl. Seeing his long, bloodied tail resting on the ground he raised his sword and thruster straight down into his tail.

Orinda looked up and saw Chugami. He waved and resumed scrubbing, he was almost to the center of the lobby.

Chugami waved back.

(DAMN IT LERS, LOL)

Xiuhcoatl felt an excruciating pain that brought him down to his knees, he turned around to see the yoshi's sword stabbed through his tail. He would try to move his tail but could risk even further injury to it. Fumbling the magic wand around in his hand because of the high amount of pain, he struggled to point it at the black yoshi's face.

"Y-you son of a..", he muttered out as he moaned in pain.

"Phew thank you Skittles," Clive said as the yoshis perished in front of him. "Are you okay?" he then asked Xiuchoatl.

Skittles turned around and saw Xiuhcoatl was in deep trouble with the black yoshi. He cussed to himself and began to run over to Xiuhcoatl to help him. Just as he hit his stride, four yoshi came up and tackled him from behind, knocking the magic wand out of his hands as it slid on the ground and stopped a few inches in front of his face. Struggling to get the yoshi off of him and frantically trying to reach out for the wand, there was nothing he could do to get to Xiuhcoatl. He was on his own, unless Clive could take the black yoshi out.

The black yoshi stood over Xiuhcoatl as he tried to get his magic wand aimed. With a huge, evil smile on his face, he took the sword by the handle and twisted it to the right hard, cracking bones and tearing the flesh in the tail of Xiuhcoatl. He let off an evil laugh and watched Xiuhcoatl suffer in great agony.

Finishing the back half of the lobby, Orinda put more lemon juice on the rag and moved towards the steps of the stairway. He began to polish the bottom step.

Crystal took one of the rags and squeezed a lemon peel to get the juice of the lemon onto the rag. She started next to the main doorway of the castle and began to work her way inward. She was about to the center of the room with her scrubbing when she closed her eyes and shuddered.

"Guys, I feel something is wrong", Crystal said as a tear rolled down her face. "Something is not right at all."

Xiuhcoatl cried out in anguish as the yoshi turned the sword further, tearing into his tail and causing more damage inside it. Finally getting his hands firmly around the wand, he muttered a phrase that was barely above a whisper.

The wand turned a bright green as smoke came from it. The wand began to shake from all the pressure and finally shot out a powerful blast of green acid, catching the black yoshi directly in the face. He nearly lost control of the wand from the power it emitted but clinged onto it.

He looked at the sword stuck in his tail, the sword had gone all the way through his tail and was pinning it into the ground. He debated pulling the sword out but didn't want to cause more damage.

"Skittles! Clive!", he shouted in pain. "I need help getting this sword out, badly!"

Clive walked over to the yoshi with Skittle's whip in hand. He took one look at the whip and smiled at the yoshi. Before the yoshi could react, Clive tied up the yoshi so he couldn't move.

"Skittles, help Xiuchoatl, I'll handle this yoshi," he said.

Skittles struggled as the yoshi smothered him in the tackle and lunged out an arm desperately at the magic wand just in front of him. Grasping it with his finger tips, he brought it back and faced it at the yoshi on top of him. Shooting off three fireballs at their heads, he engulfed two of yoshi in flames. They both fled and ran into each other, finally collapsing on the ground presumably burned to death. Looking to Xiuhcoatl for a moment, he fought to get the third Yoshi off of him.

The black yoshi backed away screaming and squealing, as his face was burning away from the acid that was shot at him. Being forced back into the arms of Clive, he got tied up within the whip and was trying to wipe the acid from his face but only made it worse.

Orinda noticed Crystal acting strangely from the steps that he was waxing. "What's wrong, Crystal?", he asked as he came down next to her. He knew there was trouble of some sort.. it was either in the lobby or the guys at the island were in trouble.

"That should hold him until we decide what to do with him, " Clive said as he finished tying up the yoshi. "He won't be going anywhere." He then put a cloth around its mouth to keep him quiet and tied it round tightly.

Clive then walked over to Skittles and helped him in trying to get rid of the third yoshi.

She looked to Orinda and nodded, sighing. "It isn't here that's the problem", she said, wiping the tears from her eyes. "Someone outside here is seriously hurt, I can sense their pain."

With those words, she picked up the rag and continued to finish the last of the lobby floor scrubbing job.
