Merry belated Christmas!

I was out for most of the week because my sister came up with an insane idea so we could actually get to meet up with her. We planned the trip in like 2 days, and we spent like 3 days up with her (not all the way to where she lives, but with her in-laws down near Dallas).

I'm kind of really glad we didn't go all the way to Dallas, though. The weather got very ugly, and the day we went out to Arlington, there were multiple tornadoes in Dallas. It was really scary. We only got some heavy rain. It was kind of worse for us when we came back, because the winds were so strong, they kept pushing our small car off the lane, and the rain was also kind of really strong. But in the end, well, while it was stressful, we got back with no problems, and it was all worth it because for the first time in years, we were almost complete in Christmas (just minus the extended family).

We even had a few gifts. I got some Zelda-themed necklaces (you can turn them into keychains if you prefer, too), mostly on the Ocarina of Time kind of theme. My sister also brought me a few amiibos (and then ninja'd a few more for me during our shopping, too), and I got her a whole kg of the best coffee I've ever tasted, and I got her a Jurassic World plush (the Indominus Rex) with a little soft cover. My parents gave me a super soft and long down feather jacket, and on the way back they got me a super useful advance (very advanced) birthday gift: a Microsoft Band 2. It's really awesome and I think I'll get plenty of use out of it. Best smartwatch I could get, if you ask me!

Just spend Christmas mostly with family. Will probably be staying at home for the new year.
