So it has been a whole month now since I became vegan and am very proud of it. I made a few mistakes I must admit but I'm not angry or upset about it. Still a lot to learn and intend to carry on the best way I can.

well guys my left knee is pretty much healed now after the meniscus surgery. learning to take things a hell of a lot slower.

and honestly that's kinda sounding worse.

I have a big problem with the "Sticks and stones" quote. Names do hurt and in a lot of cases even worse than broken bones. Even though it's just mental and verbal, words can cause a lot of hurt inside.

What's wrong with Sticks and Stones? It ain't common law so why have a problem with it.

I don't find a problem with the saying but words CAN hurt some. It just isn't a "one size fits all" type of statement.
