Nothing is being done about the shootings because citizens think any change is a violation of their rights to bear arms and the government can't decide on laws because political parties leave America divided. It'd be nice if we realized we're all in this together, regardless of what we support or who we vote for, and that the only way we can stop the violence is to unite and say enough is enough.

Funny how common sense is like dreaming in terms of things like that. You think it'd be that simple but NOOO.

Common sense LoL doesn't work well with the what's in it for me line of logic that so many use. Being selfish doesn't help the dividing of a country.

It doesn't help matters at all! It's really sad that this is what the United States has come to, I don't remember the shootings being this frequent growing up.

It's increasing because impartially of news and social media. We keep showing it, they'll keep shooting.. if someone has an audience, they will keep performing this act of terror over and over again.. people need to suck in their pride and realize that it needs to be harder to obtain these guns because the shooters are clearly unstable..

I agree! Well for the most part.. making gun ownership requirements even more extensive would help, even if most of us in America need to suck in our prides a little and try working together as a nation instead of a nation divided..
