I'd love to see a Munsters and Addams Family crossover. Those would go so well together, I think.

Without the original actors and how bad reboots tend to be screwed up, I think shows like that are better off left the way they were.

Monty Oum, the self-trained 3D animator well renowned for creating the most awesome fighting animations you've ever seen, passed away yesterday. Rooster Teeth's official announcement. It is unknown what will happen to his series in progress, RWBY. He will be missed.

Who and what series?

He created two personal projects, crossover fighting videos Haloid and Dead Fantasy, before joining Rooster Teeth, where he animated for season 8 to 10 of Red vs Blue before creating and animating his own original series RWBY. The last of those has actually won awards.

(Though now that I think about it, the odds that anyone here heard of any of those is rather unlikely.)

What kind of awards though? I didn't exactly see or hear anything about him in the news.
