Role Play Pool Party V.2

Crystal held a finger over her lips as she gently hushed Clive. Placing both hands gently over his forehead, she began to rub them in a circular motion. Extending a pinky on each hand, she moved them upwards onto his temples and began to massage them. She looked above his head and blew out a long breath, as if chasing the spirits of the poison mushroom away. Gently caressing his forehead with the back of her right hand, she kissed Clive on the forehead gently and proceeded to wave her arms around, fending off the mushroom.

"Feel better?", Crystal asked with a bit of nervousness in her voice as she took a step back from the couch, her tiny silver wings shivering against the back of her pink shell, which sparkled from the dim light that shone from a hole in the ceiling above her. "The poison and its effect should now be gone."

Murcury kept his distance from the two newcomers, staying in his spot atop the stairwell. He thought back to the odd, storytelling rat and how he reacted. He feared this is how these two would react to him. Oh Murcs, he thought to himself, why do you have to be so socially awkward..

Clive patted his face and rubbed it slightly and he realised the poison was gone.

"Much better," Clive said as he slowly got back up to his feet. "Thank you very much, I am very grateful. I won't forget this."

"You're very welcome," Crystal said softly as she watched Clive get up from the sofa, "but very lucky as well. If he had used anything much stronger he would of blinded you."

The lead koopa troopa walked up to Bowser and tripped over on his own feet on the way, nearly crashing into the koopa king. Saluting him clumsily, he scratched his head and gave Bowser a strange look. "I..I don't think that's possible your nastiness..", he sputtered out in a timid tone.

Heaven let off a sigh of relief as she saw Clive get up. Walking up to Crystal, she gave her a gentle hug and smiled. "Thank you," she said as she was tempted to give Crystal something to repay her for the gracious deed. "What do I owe you for your hospitality and much appreciated assistance?"

Crystal had to think this out for a moment. She was fully aware this was the Queen of the Koopas she was talking to and didn't want to ask for more than she was allowed to have. "There is one thing," Crystal said softly, "we're looking for a particular type of gem that according to Koopa folklore is very rare.. do you know where we would find it?"

Heaven nodded to Crystal and knew exactly what she was talking about. "You must mean the purple energy crystals of light and purity," she said calmly, with a smile. "Those are tucked deep in the caverns of the Vanilla Dome. I'm sure you know the way, if not Bowser and I can transport you there via ship."

Crystal gave Heaven a hug and then curtsied to her in respect. "Thank you," she said as she looked towards Murcury who was still at the top of the staircase. "Much appreciated your koopaness, unless you and your friend require any further services I must be off to find some of those crystals.."

Finally ridding himself of that incompetent dragon Orinda, Spike began going through the bottles of liquor underneath the bar, opening and sniffing to see if any was to his liking. "Weak crap in here," he muttered as he chucked various bottles over his back as they hit the ground and shattered, sending alcohol all over the floor. "Cheers to the idiot who stocked this thing."

Bowser grabbed the troopa by the throat and shook him violently. "Make it possible and do it!", he shouted at him. "Nobody expects you to think I know I don't!"

The troopa looked at Bowser with a confused expression. "Uh," he said in an absentminded tone, "you want us to know when to throw you in by your toes so we know how sir? Is that what you want us to know when to know I know that you know?"

Brushing a few fingers through her hair for a second, Heaven smiled softly to Crystal and curtsied back. "I think we're okay from here," she said with a nod as she looked to Clive for a moment. "But thank you again so much for your help."

Walking to the door, she noticed Murcury as she walked past the stairwell and shyly waved at the stranger. She then attempted to open the door and noticed it was stuck shut. Giving a firm tug on the doorknob, nothing prevailed. "Lady Crystal," she called out to her. "Your door seems stuck.."

Throwing two more bottles out onto the floor, each shattering and spilling liquid all over the tavern floor just behind him, Spike had basically just cleared out the entire bar. "Where they hidin' the hard stuff?", he asked to himself aloud as he stood back up and slipped his leather jacket back on. "Bingo, bet the king of this place is stashin' it somewheres." Walking out of the tavern and slamming the door shut behind him, he lazily strolled into Koopa Castle through the apparently wide open front door.

Crystal looked to Heaven and smiled as she walked up to the door and lightly kicked it, loosening the door and opening it just a crack letting the Valley air and darkness to come through. "Easy fix your koopaness.." she said shyly with a brief curtsy.

"Thank you Crystal, Now I have to go back and finish some business back at the castle," Clive replied as he made his way to the blocked door.

Bonking the lead troopa on the head hard, Bowser snarled and stomped around in frustration. "You know what I mean you buffoon!", he shouted as he picked one up by the shell. Shaking the troopa violently, he then drop kicked him through a window of the doomship. "Forget throwing me in," he bellowed loudly. "Unless you want to get in the doomship like your brain-dead little dill-weed, you best get in there before I kick you in there!"

Heaven thanked Crystal once more and waved to Murcury as she stepped outside and attempted to chase after Clive just as she heard Bowser's screaming and hollering from the rooftop of the castle. "What a surprise.." she muttered under her breath sarcastically as she stood there watching the lighted sign at the top of Koopa Castle where she imagined he was. "They don't listen if you don't."

Waving to Clive as he and Heaven exited the Ghost House, Crystal then turned to Murcs at the top of the stairs and gave him a gentle smile. "Those gems were in our own territory and we never knew it," she said as she then turned her gaze out through the open doorway and into the ghastly Valley outside. "We better get going, Murcs."

Extending a hand out, Crystal brushed a tuft of hair out away from her pink shell. "M'lord, if you don't mind.." she said with a soft giggle in her voice.

Iggy shook his wand as a picture of Bowser showed up in the glass tip of it. "King dad," he said with an evil, toothy koopa grin. "The koopa-yoshi has been properly disposed of. Yoshi's Island IS mine!"

Making his way into the throne room, Spike flipped over Bowser's throne looking for the alcohol stash that he swore that was hidden in the castle. Finding nothing, he slouched into Bowser's quarters that was accessed through a door right behind the throne and began throwing junk aside in a noisy manner. "Where the hecks is it?", he asked aloud as he dug through the room. "Where is the good stuff hidin'?

Bowser looked at his wand in disbelief. Shedding a loose tear from his left cheek, he hoped the group of troopas didn't catch it. "You make this nasty, twisted koopa proud," he said to Iggy, letting off a sly smile. "I knew that 'thing' never had a chance in this place!"

Hitting the floor in a crumpled heap, Orinda dragged himself slowly to his feet and noticed he went sailing into the office and through the office door.. literally, the office door was cracked in two and laid on the floor in splintered pieces. "Ouch.." he moaned as he rubbed his head. "I'll feel that in the mornin'."

The lead koopa troopa poked his head out from one of the doomship windows. "You said start the ship ya koopaness?" he asked absentmindedly as he then left the window and turned back to the rest of his troopa army. "Start the ship boys!", he shouted aloud.

Clive proceeded to make his way back to the castle. He waited for Heaven before continuing.
