Welcome! Maybe its like that thing dogs obsess over with crotches.. that just drives me nuts sometimes, especially when we got company visiting.

I think the reason why they are so obsessed with crotches is because that is where your most natural scent is. It isn't like we use perfume down there or anything (at least I hope not!). So it is their way of getting to know scents. Kind of like why they sniff each other's butts. That is where a lot of scent glands are for them.
