My guess is that he wants to bring people of all cultures into that bible camp he's been trying to put together and he wants to be able to communicate with them. Just my conclusion though.

I think its wonderful picking up a second language. It's a culture thing and an extra tool all the while.

Definitely can get you further not gonna argue that.

Thanks both of you! I plan on updating my blog at least once a week, maybe twice. You have to keep rolling and learn how to roll in a new way when life gives you lemons like that. You have to make lemonade from the lemons, if you know what I mean!

I've always loved how upbeat you are despite the pain you go through, Laura. Also your blog is just as upbeat and I can't wait to see what you post next. We need more strong people in the world like you!
